Brief Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival and Travel to Gangtok.

Day 2 : Exploring North Sikkim ( Lachung ).

Day 3 : Travel to Yumthang Valley & Sightseeing.

Day 4 : Explore Changu Lake and Baba Mandir ( East Sikkim ).

Day 5 : Travel to Darjeeling.

Day 6 : Darjeeling sightseeing & Departure

Day 01: Arrival – Bagdogra / NJP to Gangtok

Distance: 124 km | Duration: ~4 hours

  • On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, meet our representative and proceed to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim located at an altitude of 5,500 ft.

  • The drive offers scenic views of rivers and mountain landscapes. Gangtok is known for its peaceful environment, monasteries, and Himalayan charm.

  • Hotel check-in, Rest and acclimatization and you can visit MG Marg for shopping.

  • Overnight stay in Gangtok

Day 02: Gangtok to Lachung

Distance: 135 km | Duration: ~6 hours | Altitude: 8,610 ft

  • After breakfast, proceed towards Lachung, one of the most picturesque villages of North Sikkim. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, and streams, Lachung offers a pure Himalayan village experience.

  • Arrival at Lachung and Hotel check-in

  • Evening at leisure

  • Overnight stay in Lachung

Day 03: Yumthang Valley Excursion – Return to Gangtok

Altitude: Yumthang – 11,800 ft

  • Early morning after breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley, famously known as the Valley of Flowers. The valley is known for its wide meadows, alpine flowers, rhododendron trees, and flowing river.

  • Visit the natural hot spring area (subject to accessibility). After sightseeing, return to Lachung and continue the journey back to Gangtok. ( Zero Point Optional at extra cost )

  • Arrival at Gangtok

  • Hotel check-in

  • Overnight stay in Gangtok

Day 04: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion

Distance: Approx. 54 km round trip

  • After breakfast, proceed for a high-altitude excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake situated at 12,400 ft. The lake remains frozen during winter and reflects changing colors with the seasons.

  • Further drive to Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial, an important and respected site. ( Nathula Pass Optional at extra cost )

  • Return to Gangtok by evening. Free time at MG Marg for shopping and leisure.

  • Overnight stay in Gangtok

Day 05: Gangtok to Darjeeling

Distance: 95 km | Duration: ~4 hours | Altitude: 7,200 ft

  • After breakfast, depart for Darjeeling, known as the Queen of the Hills. Famous for tea gardens, colonial-era charm, and panoramic mountain views.

  • Arrival and hotel check-in

  • Evening free for walk at Mall Road

  • Overnight stay in Darjeeling

Day 06: Darjeeling Sightseeing – Departure

Early Morning Excursion:

  • Visit Tiger Hill for a breathtaking sunrise view over Mt. Kanchenjunga.

On return, visit:

  • Batasia Loop (War Memorial)

  • Ghoom Monastery

    Post Breakfast Sightseeing:

  • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute

  • Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday)

  • Tenzing Rock

  • Happy Valley Tea Garden

  • Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda

  • Later, proceed to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for onward journey with wonderful memories.
